Cissy Greens

Our Story
For over 200 years, Cissy Greens has been at the heart of Haslingden, Lancashire, creating what is now one of the most famous meat pies in the country.

Cissy Green, born in the 1800s, was a skilled baker from a family of bakers. Cissy played a key role in perfecting the hand-raised Cissy Greens meat pie—a technique that is still used in-house today.

But the legacy of Cissy Greens goes far beyond Lancashire.
